The staff at BFCC provide nearly all the necessary equipment for the classes including Masks, Foils, and Jackets. However, for sanitary reasons, all students must provide fencing gloves ($14.00). Orders are taken on the first day of class.
All students must wear non-marking athletic shoes and shoelaces must not drag on the ground. Sweat pants that cover the entire leg and have no tears are required at all times. Pants and socks must be long enough to cover any exposed skin on the legs. Pants must not drag on the ground, no matter how cool they look. Unlike the bear-chested dualists of the good old days shirts are required.
BFCC will provide masks, jackets and foils for students to use during class. Students participating in the Advanced classes are expected to invest in their own equipment. BFCC does own electric equipment which is lent out for students to use.
